Hi, my name is Alexandria. I am the business manager of Cozy Paws and often the person you see first thing in the morning when dropping off your dogs. Me and my furry companion, Milo, have been a part of Cozy Paws since its establishment in 2023. Prior to this, I have had 5 years of experience in this field, with an additional 10+ years of animal care experience and knowledge.
Being a part of Team Cozy Paws has opened up so many learning and growing opportunities for me. I have taken courses in dog behaviours and body language, became a certified Fear Free professional, and even became a first-time dog mom. None of this would have been possible without the guidance and experience of working here.
I am so glad my lifelong passion of animals and their wellbeing has led me here. I am confident that with my education and training that I am able to create a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for all of our clients (canine and human alike!). I love and care for each pup as if they were my own, and I strive to make Cozy Paws “a home away from home.”

As a pet mom of 7 beloved animals, I truly understand the importance of fostering a safe, happy and loving environment for all pets who are in my care and I treat each one of your dogs as if they were one of my own.
I am super energetic and bring tons of enthusiasm and joy to each day, and that shows through on our social media. I absolutely love sharing all the things we get up to here with you all.

Hey, I'm Nikki. When my nephew was 8 he described me to a friend as a "crazy dog lady", and honestly I've never heard a better description of myself.
I've loved alot of dogs over the years. Some I have shared my home with while others I helped find homes for through my work as an adoption coordinator for the Gander and Area S.P.C.A.
The privilege of working at an animal shelter has given me years of hands on experience in understanding dog behavior. It has allowed me to respect breed characteristics and temperament while understanding that all dogs are individuals.
I'm grateful for the emphasis Cozy Paws places on Fear Free handling and positive reinforcement techniques. I know that being patient and gentle and taking the time to build a trusting relationship has a profound effect on a dogs emotional wellbeing.
As a crazy dog lady I don't think I could ever live long enough to own all the dogs I want. I am thankful to be here at Cozy Paws where I get to love and care for each and every dog that comes through our doors as if they were my very own.
